REPORTING GUIDE FOR ANALYSIS OF GLUCOSE ESTIMATION
- DATE =?
- TITLE = Glucose oxidase peroxidase (GOD-POD) method of Glucose estimation
- AIM = To estimate quantity of glucose in a given plasma sample
- MATERIALS =?
- PRINCIPLE

Color intensity (pinkish) generated at the end of the reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of Glucose in the sample.
- TABLE OF PROTOCOLS
| Pipette into the test tube | Test | Standard | Blank |
| Glucose Reagent (mL) | 1.0 | 1.0 | 1.0 |
| Standard (µL) | – | 10 | – |
| Sample (µL) | 10 | – | – |
Mix well and incubate for 10min at 370C and 20min at Room temperature, read the absorbance of standard and test at 505nm.
Concentration of standard in ideal condition = 100mg/dL or 5.5mmol/L for most the reagent pack, though this might be altered during practical classes
Use the formula below to convert glucose concentration from mg/dl to mmo/L.
